Lochinvar designs, manufactures and distributes a large range of High Efficiency and Condensing Water Heaters and Boilers.

Our Knight and Charger products were some of the first direct gas-fired water heaters to be supplied in the UK in the mid 1970’s. Lending themselves to the principles of system separation this concept grew in popularity in the 1980’s when they featured in Government-sponsored campaigns such as ‘Save-it’ and Monergy and British Gas Energy Management Awards (GEM) projects.

Environmental consideration has featured in the continuous development programme at Lochinvar. Our high efficiency products continue to conserve fuel, which also reduces carbon footprint. The use of Condensing technology in recent years has seen further increases in product efficiencies and ultra low NOx emissions meet and surpass the requirements of European Standard Class 5 pre-mix combustion.

We now offer bespoke Renewable water heating packages, which can include low/zero carbon technologies (LZC’s) such as Solar Thermal and Air Source Heat Pumps. Such packages can further reduce carbon emissions without compromising hot water supply.
